I am a registered social worker with a passion for supporting individuals and families through life’s transitions. My journey began in the Soviet Union, where I was born, and led me to Mordovian State University, where I earned my degree in Social Work in 2002.My professional path took me to Argentina for six years, where I worked with senior immigrants, helping them integrate into society and adjust to their new lives. This experience gave me a deep understanding of cultural diversity and the challenges that come with adapting to new environments.Since moving to Canada in 2008, I have had the opportunity to work in various sectors, including government administrative support, insurance, and non-profit organizations. I have volunteered and worked full-time in roles that have allowed me to support individuals from all walks of life.Since 2018, I’ve focused on helping families of transgender individuals navigate the process of gender transition. My work in this area includes providing peer support, offering education, and helping families understand the unique challenges their loved ones may face.My education is confirmed with the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) and I am a registered social worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). I also hold a Certificate in Counselling from the Vancouver College of Counsellor’s Training (2022), which has further honed my ability to guide individuals through life’s most difficult moments with empathy and care.I believe in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for each person I work with, and I am committed to helping my clients navigate their personal journeys toward well-being and acceptance.
